Sydnee Shafer
Sydnee started at the Piatt County Farm Bureau in early January of 2023. Prior to the Farm Bureau, she was employed at ADM as a grain origination support specialist. She graduated from the University of Illinois in 2022 with a bachelors degree in ALEC - Ag leadership, education and communications from the ACES department. She lives in Arcola, IL where she assists her family on their corn and bean grain farm.

My name is Pam Chambers. I am so excited
to be your new Ag in the Classroom
Coordinator. I have been a long time teacher and instructional coach in Champaign and Piatt County. I have a deep love for using hands-on learning to motivate and increase interest in exploring the world we live in. I hope you will invite me into your classroom to help show your students, young and older, how important agriculture is by applying authentic, agricultural-based content as the context to teaching core curriculum concepts in science, social studies, language arts, and nutrition. Hands on activities will engage your students and create a lasting impression on Ag learning and interest!
